PATHETIC SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - LIES AFTER LIES AFTER LIES

My line got suspended even though my account is in credit of R1250. Scott told me my line will be activated again within 2 to 4 hours. Then 24hrs later I spoke to Noma, who said Scott **** to me and my line will be active in 24 t0 48 hrs. I called in again and I was told my address was captured incorrectly and yet a technician was out the previous day to restore my services. Yet the billing statements show the correct address all the time! When I call again, they tell me this is a new order and they took R249 from my credit balance. New order for what? All they need to do is to reconnect my services. What an embarrassment you are MWEB. Making it difficult for clients to reconnect services. As if you are the only service provider out there. Worry not, if you don't want us as clients, just refund us our monies and we will gladly move on as I already have done so. When I asked for a refund, my call was cut by their agent, deliberately so. This is how you treat your over 10 year client. That's the price you pay for being loyal I guess. Seems like nobody knows what's going on and worst of all is that, they all work from home. No walk-in centre for customer care. Your customer support is non-existent. PATHETIC SERVICE full of LIES!

Hi, if you are able to reconnect my services within 48hrs, you may proceed to reconnect them. I am working from home, and I can't afford another set of different stories and inconveniences. If it is going to take more than 48hrs to reconnect, then let's process a refund.

After my earlier review and them saying I must respond privately for a quicker response, now mweb sees it fit not to action anything on their side as they keep responding via an automated response. what a WOW

this is how committed they are to resolve my query.
This is an automated follow-up to make sure you are fully supported. Please send a private message for any assistance—we’ll reply as quickly as possible.
Kind regards,

Hi Thabang,
According to your account records, you requested the cancellation of your service, and this cancellation has been submitted.
At this stage, we’re unable to confirm an exact time for activation should you wish to proceed with a new order, as this needs to be escalated to the Fibre Team. Please let us know if you would like to continue with the order so it can be escalated and monitored accordingly.
Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

I responded yesterday already asking you how long the reconnection is going to take?

As things stand, what is the status of my account? If you are unable to reconnect me, then say so. You can then process a refund, as nothing is changing on your side. If you can't tell me how long it will take to process a reconnection, how do I move forward as the status of my order has been stuck on provision from 31 March 2026.

Hi Thabang,
We understand how frustrating it is to have your order pending since 31 March 2026, especially after already following up for an update on reconnection.
Your order has been escalated to our Vumatel Fibre Team, and we have requested that they confirm the status of the order and advise on the next steps for activation. Once their feedback is received, it will be communicated immediately so you can make an informed decision on how to proceed.
We are actively monitoring this escalation and will follow up as soon as the Fibre Team provides a response. Your patience and understanding while this is being reviewed are appreciated.
Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team
