PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER

I logged a call regarding my internet not connecting, and 6 days later I had to call MWEB myself only to be informed that my service had been deactivated. Throughout this entire process, no proper feedback or assistance was provided.

My service has now been cut off 3 times, causing major inconvenience. To make matters worse, the consultant closed my call (***) without my services even being active again, and then transferred me to sales. After waiting on hold for assistance in sales, I was transferred yet again to activations with still no resolution.

This level of service is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I have spent days without internet, been passed from department to department, and received no proper communication or urgency from your team. MWEB’s customer service has been absolutely pathetic throughout this experience

Hi Saisha, we understand how frustrating and disruptive this has been for you, especially being without internet for several days, being transferred between departments, and not receiving clear communication or resolution. That level of service experience is not what we expect for our customers, and we understand your disappointment. We can confirm that this matter has now been escalated to Link Layer for urgent investigation regarding the service interruptions and deactivation status linked to your connection. Your reference (314180) has been included in the escalation to ensure the full history is reviewed. The focus now is on getting clarity from the network provider and restoring your service as quickly as possible, while also addressing the breakdown in communication and handling you experienced during the process.Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

Please note that in order for me to get a reply I need to list a negative review for mweb to respond. When I call and log calls its never resolved and your team from sales to technical service is either cutting me off or waiting for feedback from managers. Its ridiculous in order to receive service or feedback i need to log bad reviews whereas you could provide assistance the first time around.

Hi Saisha,We understand your frustration, especially feeling like feedback only comes through when raising concerns publicly, rather than receiving timely assistance through the normal support channels. That is not the experience we want you to have, and we recognise how exhausting this process has been for you across multiple departments. We can confirm again that your case remains escalated with Link Layer for urgent investigation regarding the repeated service interruptions and current connection status. The escalation includes the full history of your interactions so this can be properly reviewed end-to-end, not just in isolation. At this stage, the focus is on getting a clear resolution from the network provider and restoring stable service as quickly as possible, while also reviewing the breakdown in communication and handling you’ve experienced internally.Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

Hi Saisha, We completely understand your decision and the frustration behind it, especially after being without a working connection for this length of time while still trying to get clear resolution and consistent feedback. A week without service is highly disruptive, and we recognise the impact this has had on you. An urgent follow-up has already been submitted to our Link Layer team regarding the reconnection and current service status, with emphasis placed on the ongoing downtime and the need for immediate intervention from the network side. The matter remains prioritised for review while we continue pushing for feedback from the provider. At the same time, we would like to confirm whether you would still like to proceed with the cancellation request so the relevant team can advise you further on the next steps and account process accordingly. Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

I must express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with MWEB’s service delivery. The level of inconsistency, lack of transparency, and poor communication I have experienced is completely unacceptable.

I logged a call last week regarding my internet service being deactivated without any notification or explanation. I was then told by MWEB that Link Layer had cancelled the service, yet when speaking to Link Layer, they advised that MWEB was the one who cancelled it. After 9 days of being sent back and forth between companies, MWEB only then realized that Link Layer cannot support the requested speed in my area.

How can a company operate with such poor communication and misinformation? Customers should not have to chase answers, sit without service, and receive conflicting information from different parties. The lack of accountability and professionalism shown throughout this process is shocking.

At this point, I am requesting that a competent manager contact me urgently to resolve this matter properly. The connection of an internet line is not rocket science, and customers deserve honest communication and efficient service delivery.

MWEB seriously needs to improve its customer service, internal processes, and transparency

Hi Saisha,
Being sent back and forth for days, receiving conflicting information from different parties, and still seeing no real progress would understandably leave you feeling that nothing is being properly owned or resolved. We recognise how frustrating it is to feel that time is passing without accountability, and this is not the experience we want our clients to have.
We want to reassure you that the matter is being actively attended to and remains prioritised. Because of the escalation made, the relevant teams are actively working on this. The escalation ensures this does not sit idle and continues to receive focused attention until there is a clear outcome.
We remain committed to getting this properly resolved and will continue pushing for clear feedback to be provided to you as soon as it becomes available.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

Hi Saisha,
After everything you’ve been through, it’s understandable that you want concrete action rather than repeated explanations, especially when the situation has already dragged on for days without resolution. The matter is currently being worked on and remains prioritised. Following the escalation already in place, the relevant teams are actively engaging with Link Layer. You will be updated directly as soon as there is an update or confirmation from the team handling this.
We remain committed to seeing this through properly and getting this resolved for you.
Kind regards,
