Pathetic Service
MWEB’s service has been absolutely unacceptable.
I moved into a new property over a week ago and needed to switch from Frogfoot to Octotel, as the new place already has fibre installed. This should have been a simple process, cancel the existing line and activate a new one.
Instead, I’ve been left without internet for over a week.
Trying to get assistance has been a nightmare. I’ve spent nearly R600 just attempting to contact their call centre, only to be told twice that activation would take 24–48 hours. That timeframe has come and gone with no resolution.
On top of that, waiting 1.5 to 2 hours just to speak to someone is completely unacceptable. There is no excuse for that level of inefficiency, especially for a basic service request. Yet billing seems to happen without any delays.
This experience has been beyond frustrating and shows a serious lack of service delivery. I would not recommend MWEB to anyone based on this. If you value your time and money, look elsewhere.
