Not getting service and being told the same story.

I am extremely unhappy with the service I am receiving from Telkom and Mweb.

The fault logged by my fiancé on Hellopeter was not fully resolved and the line started acting up EXACTLY the same way as described in this complaint at the start of July: https://hellopeter.com/mweb/reviews/nearly-a-month-a-half-without-proper-internet-with-mweb- **********

After numerous calls and interactions with Mweb, and from Mweb with Telkom, my instructions were not followed and I have now really had it with the Mweb blames Telkom, Telkom blames Mweb story. On top of this, I get told the exact same generic response each time from both Telkom and Mweb.

I am hereby repeating the complaint logged by Caryn on Hellopeter and adding the below to the complaint because the Hellopeter complaint is still relevant to my experience. I feel this case is not resolved.

Each time that I explicitly ask for either Telkom or Mweb to notify me when the technician will be at my house, I am told they will let me know. Yet, EACH TIME, NOBODY informed me of the date a technician will be at my house so that I can make arrangements to be home.

When I am not home and there is someone at home, Telkom keeps on saying the same story about the fault being our router that is in the wrong mode and when we call Mweb, they only escalate a fault again. When they escalate the fault for the umpteenth time, I tell them to let me know when the technician will be at my house and each time they tell me that they will inform me. Yet, now, AGAIN, I was not informed and the technicians arrive at my house.

When we tell them that the line fault started when they worked on the pole in March, they ignore us and say that because the line is on, it is fixed and they won’t look for a fault because it is impossible. Then the technicians leave and the line is working

This is really not good service and really leaves a bad experience for me as a user. On top of the above complaint, Mweb and Telkom still has not fixed my line to work properly and my line is STILL intermittent, since 23 MARCH!

I expect a speedy reply from you as to when and how you will resolve this matter. I expect you to LET ME KNOW WHEN A TECHNICIAN WILL BE AT MY HOUSE. “As soon as possible” could mean anything from a day to a week, to even a month. “As soon as possible” is not an acceptable response and generic.
