No internet for 8 days, no feedback and no refund from mweb or vumatel

My internet has been down for the past 8 days and still no feedback received from Mweb or Vumatel. I phoned 2 days ago to enquire on the progress, I was finally assisted by an agent after waiting on the phone for 40 minutes. Apparently Vumatel can't advise on an ETA and neither are they prepared to refund me for the days that I am unable to use the wifi. I think this kind of service is considered highly unacceptable and would make any customer cancel the immediately. I am at the end of my tether and feel at a loss for recourse.
