No internet connection since installation

Mweb is the worst ISP ever. They debited my account on 24 Dec 2022, installed the router and fibre cabling on 27 Dec 2022, I have yet to enjoy the wifi for which I paid as there is no internet connection. When I called to advise, I was told they would charge me R1800 fee for a technician to visit my house. How can I pay for a service that has never worked?
