New Spelling for '***********': M.W.E.B.
Well, I think the countless negative MWeb reviews on here speak for themselves, but wait for THIS one:
Call MWEB right now, and they've already included in their automated voice messaging system that they apologize for delays; people working from home, yada yada... They ALSO mention that they're aware you may currently not be able to use your emails, and that they're working on it, yada yada...
Alongside the myriad other "Unproudly South African" companies of the New Order, MWEB is another true sign of the demise of agility and customer service as the First World knows and understands it. Still, I am personally aware of other MORE proudly South African businesses like my own who, despite this lame excuse of a lockdown, understand these two business concepts now more than ever.
I'm going to summarize this really tightly, my full journey with this lot being a boring speech even for ME, at this point, as follows:
- My neighbour tries to call these buffons, following a 24-hour stretch of no internet to the house, and I overhear the messaging system informing him he is number 43 in the queue. Enough said there, except that we all sat without internet here for a day and a half roughly a month before.
- Then there's me, trying to run a business from home like most other businesspeople, right now. First MS Office 365 license key instruction message received on 4 February (I'm still able to use the former license, so no problem at this stage). In sum: I have logged four complaints on their website, since then, spoken to four dumb fools, been told their Technical Department doesn't deal with this, been cut off time and time again, after being transferred from one Department of *********** (or Unavailable) Idiots to the next.
- Today, transferred call after transferred call (four or five, at that), I'm transferred to a Supervisor, and cut off again. Of the entire circus, I've spoken two two polite Techies, but, alas, they can't help, and Sales DON'T help. One Tech guy did, at least, show a little more initiative than the other fools, informing me they've been sending me an outdated registration key all along, which is why the Microsoft website keeps telling me so. And so we wait, two weeks down the line - and now no email. Am suing these idiots for loss of revenue. In case YOU didn't realize this, MWEB, time is money (mine especially) - and I hope for your sakes you have more money than you do professionalism...
IN CLOSING: Told my girlfriend (a Project Manager, and someone the likes of whom MWEB CLEARLY need depserately) about this today: she responds by saying, 'Yeah - EVERYBODY knows MWEB are terrible...? I'd NEVER go with them...!' Nuff said... Now go read all the other complaints here again, and see whether I'm being reasonable. More on this as the War unfolds.
