Mweb's service sucks

If I could give zero, I would. I changed over from Octotel to Openserv on the 4th March to save money. The monthly fee for Octotel had increased twice in a few months and is no longer competitive. I SPECIFIED to the sales support person that I wanted to keep my email that I've had for years. He said it would then be a standalone. I said fine. This info was NOT captured apparently. The sales support guy said there was a special on for changing over to Openserv, that for two months, I would pay a reduced fee, and then in the third month, the fee would become the standard one. Then I receive my statement for April where I have been charged for Openserv for March, no credit has been given for Octotel for March, and then I am charged for both Octotel AND Openserv for the month of April. So for two months I am charged for TWO fibre services. I have been trying every day, sometimes waiting on the phone for about 20 minutes trying to get through to a person to speak to about this. I can't remember how many people I have spoken to, or how many times I have phoned and given up after waiting for too long (costing hundreds in cellphone calls), but every person I have managed to get through to has assured me that they will sort it out. They haven't. I keep getting told it has been escalated but nothing has been resolved. Octotel has STILL not been cancelled. Despite telling the sales support person (the first one, the second one, etc.) that I wanted to keep the email and it was fine if it was a standalone, today I get told that Octotel hasn't been cancelled because of the email. So not one of them have captured this info on the system. How are these people trained? I tried contacting Mweb on the Instagram page where they asked for the info and they would get someone to contact me. That was about a week ago. No one has contacted me. Mweb staff via the call centre, like Shay, assured me that this would be sorted before the weekend when the debit order is supposed to come off. It hasn't been sorted. Mweb is a tech company and the only way to get hold of them is a call centre? You can order a pizza off chat, you can deal with issues with your bank with secure chat, other companies you can contact by email to sort queries, but Mweb uses call centres STILL, like we're in the 20th century. As if the customers' time is not important. Honestly, Mweb, your service is non-existent. (I see Mweb isn't claimed on Hellopeter. Why am I not surprised? Hellopeter asks for an email address to contact them. Well, that's a problem because you can't contact them via email)
