Mweb's customer service is non existent!

I cancelled my Mweb account in March 2026. I was told I need to give a calendar month's notice and that it would be cancelled only on the 30th of April - fine. I was debited AGAIN today 5th May. Tried to get through to their call centre, it's impossible to speak to someone and I was on hold for over 50 mins, to finally speak to someone who decided she was unable to assist and just put be back in the queue to wait again. Their online assistance is anything but 'assistance', useless is an understatement. I've waited all day for an agent to respond and am yet to get my query resolved. I've tried to even contact them through social media channels as well. Mweb is completely *********** and their customer service is non existent. Mweb has *******ly taken money off my account and it seems trying to get it sorted is impossible.

Hi Courtney,
We understand how deeply frustrating and upsetting this situation has been, especially after following the correct cancellation process, still being debited, and then struggling to get assistance after spending so much time and airtime trying to reach us. This is certainly not the experience we want for our clients, and we recognise the distress this has caused.
Your account has been escalated to our Finance Team to review the debit that was processed after cancellation and to provide you with further assistance and clarity on the next steps. This review will ensure the billing is corrected where applicable and that the matter is properly addressed. Your feedback regarding extended hold times, limited support access, and the overall impact of this experience will also be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement.
If you need additional support while this review is underway, you’re welcome to reach out to us via a private message on Hello Peter, where we can continue assisting and keep the matter tracked through to resolution.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team
