MWEB your ISP?

My infrastructure is a telkom vdsl line with an mweb uncapped premium account. Telkom give me 45mb download 3.5mb upload on a 40mb/3mb package line. My ISP is mweb sadly who give 32mb upload/ 2mb download on a 40mb/3mb uncapped premium account. I'm a graphic designer so work on this line uploading and downloading as well as being active on Steam (gaming site). Been using this combo of telkom and mweb for 10 years now and been on the 40mb vdsl package for more than 2 years.

Mweb must have changed their policies as as of today been throttled down to 0.5mb download and 0.2mb upload. This isn't even enough to stop your outgoing mails timing out.

My advice to you is to avoid MWEB as your ISP at all cost even as a casual evening user. With so many offerings out there, anything would be better <3
