MWEB VOIP FAIL and price increase in first month

I am a new Fibre client to MWEB. I decided to cancel my ADSL and landline and move over to MWEB, although more expensive, I was looking at a higher speed and port my landline over onto VOIP. I have been with MWEB now for approximately 6 weeks and have been informed about a new price hike already and the VOIP system has been down for weeks now, with no one able to tell me when it will be up and running. So I am now paying more for halve the service I wanted and still paying for a Telkom line. FIRST IMPRESSIONS are not what i was expecting.

Good day peterlouw007

Thank you for taking the time to raise these concerns with us, we appreciate you taking the time to do so.

We're really sorry to read of your experience and we can assure you that the VOIP outage is being addressed.

We are not able to provide you with a confirmed date of resolution but it is an ongoing fault.

You will be notified via SMS when we have confirmation that it has been resolved.

In addition our price increases was due to rising operational costs, the cost to support our customers and provide a quality experience has increased.

At the time of the VAT increase, MWEB did not increase prices in line with a number of competitor increases as we believed we could keep the rising operational costs at bay.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to do this.

Kind regards
MWEB Client Services

OK MWEB, so another 2 weeks have passed since this post, and NOTHING. It is very worrying when an ISP cant sort out their own systems!!! This is costing me more to have another line active, no will from MWEB to sort this out. Sigh
