MWEB *****ulent account opened against my name

Hi , I app**** for the Mweb Fibre and requested the consultant not to activate my fibre up until i give them the instruction to do so. I made the application online roughly mid November2024. I received a call on a sunday if not mistaken it was on 15 November 2024. Im sure Mweb has got the recording of that call and can confirm or correct the date.

My instruction to the mweb consultant was that the router should only be activated from 1 December 2024 as i have an existing internet service that i wanted to cancel first. She (consultant) told me that it will be impossible to activate their internet while i have the existing internet with another company. Which worked well for my situation cause i did not want to activate immediately and also to plan to cancel the existing service.

Surprisingly, on 16/11/2024 i received a notification that my account has been activated, which was not in line with i discussed with the consultant. I called Mweb to request that they cancel my contract or internet services as they did not follow my instructions that i needed the fibre line to only be activated from 1/12/2024.

I then received a call on 17/11/2024 from the technical department requesting to activate my internet line and i told them i cancelled the contract.

The consultant that i initially spoke to, then called me subsequently about my internet line, and she told me that she does not understand what had happened with my internet. And why was it activated prior to end of November 2024.

While i was thinkin the matter is being resolved, the router was delivered. On 21/11/2024, i tried using their WhatsApp number to request them (Mweb) to collect the router as i had cancelled the internet. To this day, the router is still in the same sealed package that it was sent with.

I tried calling their call centre and my calls are not being answered and their whatspp also no response.

Please Hello Peter, assist with Mweb to collect their roouter and cancell the account as per my communications with them. I am sure that our call are recorded when we chat to the call center and they can pull up the recording and listern to what i had requested. My name is Elias Letsoala, ***
