Mweb trying to manipulate users to use their service by line blocking!

We have moved into our new home and placed our order with our service provider on the 26th March In Order to be up and running once we moved in. Only to find out, the previous home owners cancelled their service with Mweb on the 2nd of April, Mweb is holding the line until the end of April blocking any other service provers from using the line!!! When we spoke with Mweb they confirmed this is a tactic used to get people to use them as a service provider as it would get us up and running quicker!

Its disgusting that service providers can hold onto a line that they are not using in the hopes of manipulating people into using them! We not sit without internet while Mweb just hold onto a line that is not being used just to block other service providers. How is this even allowed?
