Mweb the definition of incompetence

Mweb arrived at my complex on the 1st of Feb 2020, I chatted to them and was pleasantly surprised with their offering. In addition we previously only had one ISP servicing us and the Mweb offering was too good to be true. Well so was the service level, or should I say complete lack of thereof. Before I placed my order I told Mweb that I did not want any downtime and they assured me that the process was seamless, they stated that I would be moved over to them as soon as my contract with my existing ISP was cancelled. I asked them to proceed and I sent an email to my ISP requesting that they terminate my service.

During February I followed up with Mweb, they said they could not locate my house. Which was odd seen as they were at the very complex I live in when they sold me the package. Then they demanded that I pay 3 months of subscription fees upfront. I said no way, as the sales agent told me that I did not have to be on debit order and could pay Mweb directly. No mention was made by the agent of a prepayment requiremen. But to speed up the process I agreed to go into debit order so that they could continue setting me up as a client. That was the 19th of February and the last time an Mweb agent contacted me. Mweb have gone completely cold and don’t return emails. The companies call centre is also terrible you cannot follow up with the order department because the system gets stuck once you enter your contact number. You are forced to call new business sales and wait 25 minutes before someone answers. The original sales agent who was at my complex has also stopped responding to me.

No one is willing to assist me and every person you speak to says it is someone else’s problem but won’t transfer you to that department. This is honestly the worst service I have ever experienced, and I’m not even a client yet. You have more joy at home affairs. If this is not sorted tomorrow I will find another service provider.
