Mweb Service is Terrible

I placed an order then changed my mind and wanted to cancel the order. There is no way to do this online at all. The chat bot is useless, and it never transfers you to a real person, I have been trying this for hours. I am not able to call at the moment. Why can't I cancel this online? Why does it state I need to make a payment, and I owe them money when I simply placed an order and I want to cancel it.

Hi Sean, we completely understand how frustrating it is to try and cancel an order and not be able to do so easily, especially when you’re unable to call and the available channels haven’t been helpful. To clarify, the amount reflected on your account is a once-off order processing fee linked to the order that was placed. If you no longer wish to proceed, we can assist with cancelling the order from our side. Please let us know if you would like us to proceed with the cancellation, and we’ll ensure it is handled for you. Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

Hi, thank you for the quick response. Yes, I no longer need the order I placed. The account in question is ***6 and my username is ***1. The order to be cancelled is for an Uncapped 30/30Mbps Fibre - Vumatel. Do you need anything else from me?

Hi Sean, we’ve checked your pending order (X***3) and it has been escalated to Vumatel to manually create the address on their portal. Once this is completed, your order will be sent for installation. Kind regards,
