MWEB Routers do not sync with Telkom's Wimax

Copper cable-theft is a well known problem in South Africa. Telkom often discontinues ADSL services in hot-spot areas. In addition, iBurst and other wireless ISP's do not have a 100% coverage in certain areas. So I ended up signing up for Telkom's WiMax and kept my Uncapped ADSL Data contract. However, I cannot use my MWEB Technicolor WiFi router's Extended WiFi feature. MWEB says the service only works with a fixed ADSL line. This is just not good enough. After doing some research of my own, apparently all that MWEB has to do is to configure their router's radio channel range to include the Telkom's Wimax Adapter (Alvarion) channel. But in South Africa we have to pay for service that is sub-standard. This is total ****! I suggest Mweb's and Telkom's techies start being more creative and develop Wireless Internet connectivity solutions that suits their clients.
