I signed up for Office 365 via my Mweb subscription. I tried for two weeks to activate the account and the software kept telling me that the product has already been used. If I bought a product and it does not work I want my money back. I get told I need to pay a penalty fee of more than R1000.
This is the response I got from MWEB: "I understand that you canceled the Office 365 however the package reflects as active since 26 June 2019 and will cancel on 26 June 2020 after the 12 months.
You contacted MWEB on the 08 July 2019 to advise that you are not able to use the Office 365. I noticed that they transferred you to our Retention Team.
In order to cancel the Office 365 prior to the contract end date a penalty fee would need to be paid.
The current penalty fee is R1075.47. This quote excludes any billing already invoiced and/or outstanding amounts due on the account.
Below are our banking details :
This is a ******* as when I contacted them I was told that I need to contact Microsoft and this has been unsuccessful too. If I knew that I would have this problem why would I have bought it? It is unsuccessful that we as small customers get ********** constantly and our own costs. Who is out there that can assist me here?
