Mweb renewing contracts for Microsoft 365 without permission.

Mweb are absolutely useless, and are quite happy to **** one. I have a Microsoft 365 program for which I have been trying for a year to contact them about. They appear to automatically renew a contract without consulting one or even confirming that you want to renew.

As I had two programs, I only requested one, I have tried for a year to cancel one, as with their "You can cancel any time". I was informed about October, when after numerous phone calls, emails and using their so called Customer/user help line that the only way I can cancel is to pay a penalty equal to the balance of the year contract. I actually only got that reply through sending a message via their "no reply" email address, that someone had picked up my email and rep****.

So I said that fine I might as well keep it until the end of the year contract if I had to pay for it anyway, even if I was not using it. Incidentally I never received the product code from them for this one anyway.

Then at the beginning of this year, I needed a new copy so I app**** for one and agreed to another one. Now I get an account stating that I have a new contract on the other account and I must now pay for that one as well.

On phoning and speaking to a gentleman, saying that that one must be cancelled, as they had automatically renewed the account without contacting me to confirm that the contract was now completed or requested as to whether I wished to renew. They just automatically renewed it without my permission. Now they state that I need to pay a penalty of R 1188.45 to cancel it. I did not request it, I have not used it, but they insist that I must pay for something I have not given permission for, and have not used. This to me is a ****, one to force people to pay for contracts that they have never ordered. I have not signed for this, and therefore see no reason for accepting it. I should be notified in advance of completion of contract and asked whether I wish to renew.
