Mweb prize hike!

Just received the below message from Mweb to increase my current service by 20%. Devious way to tell me that if I want to retain my current paid for service, I will have to up my monthly and crash my cash flow just to retain what I had.. I did not know that the war in the Ukraine and the cost of Sunflower oil had such an impact on their product. The greed factor seems to have gotten hold of them as well. SA's are being squeezed to the limit and maybe voting with my feet is the only option. Hi, With the launch of new Openserve line speed products and to keep your monthly costs constant, we will be moving your current 25/25Mbps Uncapped Fibre product to an Uncapped 25/10Mbps product. Your download speed remains the same and your upload speed will change to 10Mbps. Your Uncapped data and monthly costs remain the same.

You can choose to stay on your current 25/25Mbps product, but the price will increase to R599pm. Give us a call on *** before 30 May 2022 if you wish to remain on your current product.
