Mweb poor customer service
I have been trying to get hold of Mweb to report a fibre problem for the last three days. I've been "first in the queue" for up to two hours and nobody answers. The live chat does not work. When I sent a complaint to their email address they got a sales person to call me and he simply transferred me to the call line where I waited in the so called queue again and nobody answers. It is infuriating

11 Jun 2026, 09:40Hi Tony,
We understand how frustrating it must be to spend extended periods trying to report a fibre issue and still not get through, especially when you need your connection working. Not being able to reach support when your service is down can feel incredibly overwhelming. This isn’t how reporting a service fault should feel, especially when your connectivity needs urgent attention.
We’re here to help and would really like to get this resolved for you. If the issue is still outstanding, please send us a direct message on Hello Peter with a brief description of the connectivity issue you’re experiencing, and we’ll make sure to look into it.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

11 Jun 2026, 10:07Clearly if I've had the problem for some time and its worsened over the last few days, and I cannot get through to your technical department, then he problem still persists. I need someone from technical to call me directly on my cell number so that i can share details. The signal keeps dropping.

12 Jun 2026, 11:32Hi Tony,Thank you for correcting us.
We can see why the previous response was frustrating. If you were transferred to a call queue and then waited 15 minutes without being assisted, it would certainly feel like no meaningful support was provided, and the information we referenced would not reflect your actual experience. To help us better understand what you're experiencing, could you let us know whether the connection issues are still ongoing? If they are, please share a bit more detail about what you're seeing now, for example, whether the connection is dropping completely, running slower than expected, or affecting specific devices only.In the meantime, if you haven't already done so, please test the connection using a wired LAN connection directly to the router and let us know the results. This helps determine whether the issue is related to the fibre service itself or the wireless connection within the home. We'll work through this with you and help identify the cause.Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
