Mweb now useless
I have been with Mweb since the previous century but never experienced such bad service. I had to get an IT person out to my house to reconfigure my Outlook at home after they started with this new Webmail and Antispamcloud as I was completely cut off from my emails..Then I had to learn myself now how this new Antispamcloud thing works as I could not get through to Mweb on phone or via the app. It seems to me that they ventured into this new mail without thinking it through properly. My biggest problem now is the fact that I keep getting spam in my Inbox with note "The sender of this email cannot be verified"....it is definitely spam but in goes in my Inbox?. And no matter how I many times I block mails, tomorrow there is another 5 or more! And tehre is NOBODY that I can speak to.....mweb really made a *****up of this. It really seems like as soon as I block a sender, such sender gets notified to send more Spam!

We understand how frustrating and exhausting it must be to deal with constant spam and phishing emails, especially when it disrupts your daily use of email and you’ve had to seek external help to manage your account. Being cut off from your emails and having to troubleshoot these issues yourself would understandably be very stressful, particularly after trusting us for so many years. This is not the kind of experience we want for our clients. We’ve recently seen an increase in phishing emails pretending to be from Mweb or other companies such as Google. Our Abuse team is aware of this, and changes have already been implemented to reduce these emails and improve detection. In the meantime, we recommend moving these messages to your junk folder rather than just deleting them, as this helps the system learn and improve future spam detection. Please also remain cautious and avoid clicking on any suspicious links or sharing your login details in these emails. We truly appreciate your patience while the team continues to address these issues and work to reduce the impact on your account. Kind regards, Mweb Team

12 Mar 2026, 11:24Thankyou for the reply but I am not satisfied. Please explain to me how it is possible that emails that you clearly marked as spam is still going to my Inbox. Why does your algorithm or Spamcloud or whatever NOT detect it is spam and redirect it to the Spam that does not get sent to my mailbox. Something in your system is not working correctly. It is worse now than ever before.

- Our Mail engineers are actively monitoring your mailbox and the broader spam trends. Updates to the spam filtering engine were implemented over the weekend to better catch emerging spam.
- We recommend continuing to mark any spam as “Spam” in your mailbox. This action trains the filter specifically for your account and improves detection over time.

12 Mar 2026, 12:18Thanx, at least I get a reply here and not like the mweb app where I have to sit through hours with no result. And Yes I am blocking emails daily as well as using the Antispam dashboard to adding spam emails to my blocklist. Lets see how this progress...
