MWeb, not the faintest clue how internet works

This is such a silly company. I rent a 100mb/s line from them, heavily advertised as you get the router included and it takes 10 days to install. I waited 25 days for my internet, nobody ever came to connect it for me. I finally connected it myself, then I found out the the modem they included can only handle speeds up to 20 mb/s. When I try to phone and resolve this they tell me they are so sorry but there is nothing to do about it. I must pay for the 100mb/s line and only use 20mb or I can go and buy my own router So I ask if I upgrade to a gig line will they supply a better router, yes sir we will resolve it for you, now I have a gig line with a 20mb router. This company is a joke. I am moving to afrihost from today. Will never waist my time with these unprofessional idiots that cannot calculate internet speeds.

So I go out and buy a AC1200 5G router, cause now I mos have a 1G line to test it with, run a speedtest and find out again they are *****ing 4/5 of the bandwidth, I can only get 230 - 250 mb/s, so I phone in asking what is going on, they tell me sorry there is nothing they can do they cannot test the line they cannot send a technician out, they can only log a ticket. Which they have done 6 times already. This company is big and thinks it can get away with ******** ppl like this. Anybody that has a mweb account I dare you to do a speedtest you will find that you are only receiving 1 fifth of what you pay for. What a ********** piece of **** company this is. Should've known when they could not keep their word on their installation time there is nothing else that is the truth in anything else that they say. I dont know how they are still in business, looks like there are alot more stupid ppl like me.

So now it is all the way down to 76 mb/s, and once again I spent the whole morning on the phone with them and once again they just logged a ticket. These ppl ***** our money and then make excuses for it make us wait ages for response and then finally just ignores us while continuing *****ing the money. You cannot even stop the debit order at the bank they just keep deducting. THIS IS A FRUADULANT COMPANY, BEWARE.
