MWEB my ****

I have yet to have encountered such pathetic service, feedback and responses if any. I recently have moved to a premises in Umtentweni, where the owners of the land make use of MWEB, for a number of years. I paid over the installation fee , subscribed to their service for a 12 month period 6 days ago. This was all done on the 27th of March 2026, I enquired on the 31st of March as to the expected date of installation, MWEB advised that i need to contact the installer, FrogFoot. When i contacted them, they requested the FRG code from MWEB, so i again spoke to MWEB , who had not even registered the job, even though on MWEB's web page they recommend you pay instantly for the installation fee. after another full day I was informed that the property does not have fibre coverage, to which I sent them the owner's contract details , their up and down load speeds etc. Then i was told it has been escalated etc. To date , the 2nd of April 2026 , I still have not received the FRG code for the installers , and have been told they will contact me , this is pathetic, and I can understand why they have an 89% 1 star review.

Hi Paul, we completely understand how frustrating this experience has been, especially after paying the installation fee and still not having clarity or progress on your order. The back-and-forth and delays you’ve encountered are not the level of service we aim to provide. Please be assured that your case has now been escalated to the Frogfoot team for further investigation. Our team is working closely with them to verify coverage, register the installation correctly, and ensure the required details, including the FRG code, are provided so your installation can proceed. We appreciate your patience while this is being resolved and are committed to ensuring you receive a clear update and the service you signed up for. Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

Best regards,

PH
