MWEB MOST USELESS INTERNET PROVIDER IN SA
Most useless provider - took almost a month the install internet, and now have had no internet since 14 Feb - been calling, spending hundreds as you have to wait forever to speak to someone - no communication from mweb at all - phoned the other day and advised that the ****** cable will not be replaced - advised that a case worker will contact me...nothing...but quick to take my money - still no internet, money out of bank and still holding on to speak to someone at Mweb about what is going on! Do not ever use them...

09 Mar 2023, 13:33 I signed a contract with MWEB for the Pure DSL last year. On the 14th February 2023 - the internet went down at my residence. I finally got through to the technical support department on the 18th February to lodge the issue - I was advised that someone would come out to investigate. A week later someone came out, and I was advised that the cable had been ******. On the 1st March I phoned MWEB again to find out what was going on and I was advised that the cable would not be replaced and that someone would contact me. I called again on the 3rd and was advised the same thing. I then also lodged an enquiry on the portal. I then receive an SMS yesterday to say that they tried to contact me and will be closing the account - but please note that they called once during business hours and as a manager I am in meetings or not always walking around with my cellphone...When i phoned yesterday after the SMS, I was on the phone for over 30minutes, passed around department to department and was advised that someone would call me before 2pm to resolve the matter - sat patiently with my phone waiting for the call - do you think they called... No...Secondly, they happily took my money in full for Feb and March and today I get the following email...because I advised them that if they cannot provide the service then I want to cancel the contract... The cancellation of your entire *** is subject to a calendar months’ notice, with your service expiring on 31 March 2023.To avoid any inconvenience to yourself, please download any important emails prior to your scheduled cancellation date.I have not had nor received the service that I signed a contract for since February and no attempt has been made to reconcile - I am beyond livid and cannot believe that a company in today's world feel that they have the right to hold a "cancellation notice period" when they have failed to deliver the service signed the agreement for! Please advise how to proceed with this... It is unacceptable and in my world, if I cant deliver and cannot expect my customers to pay! Sharing for anyone who has thoughts of signing up with MWEB!
