MWEB... "Leaders in Internet service excuses"

If there were 0 stars, Mweb would definatley be in line for that award when it comes to lack of customer service!!!!

3 weeks of calls and begging, reference number and 6 different technical "experts", still no Internet... The only place that provides worst service than Mweb is a Government Department!!!

I love the different flavours of excuses... "Its a router problem, may need to be replaced"... "We will need a laptop to test the line and router issues"... "It must be a faulty cable that needs to be replaced"... "It definitely seems to be an Openserve problem"... "It seems to be be problem between LAN1/LAN3/LAN4?WAN connection issue"...

With reference to the response from Mweb, I called in to the technical dept on Monday evening (16/03/2026) for further assistance in order to resolve this frustrating issue. Based on the above response and the feedback from the Technician (Jade) with a new reference number as well as an sms on Monday evening at 20:27 with an assurance that the matter would be resolved within 72 hours with an undertaking to provide feedback within 48 hours as well. LO & BEHOLD, MWEB has once again failed in its undertaking, still waiting and still no internet... Like what more do I have to do to get a resolution. Funny enough, I am still being billed and if I cancel I have to give "30 DAYS NOTICE" for a service that I don't have...

You appreciate my patience, but please tell me, will I be credited for the whole month that I am unable to use the service? Also, if I have to cancel because of MWEB lack of service, will I still be charged for the 30 days notice???

It is most unfortunate that this is the ONLY platform that Mweb responds to queries and issues. 4 weeks of calls to your tech staff and no actual response or even resolution to my issues. I suppose, in order to save face and avoid further embarrassment, this platform compels Mweb to issue false and generic responses without any real value... After being a client, with numerous Mweb accounts, it all comes down to a successful debit order and no actual customer service and value product!!!

BY THE WAY, to date THERE IS STILL NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR TECH TEAM

On my last interaction with Dean, supposedly a senior consultant, I was assured that everything would be sorted within 24 hours. The agreement was that I would provide an update on this platform once all the issues were resolved, including passing a credit for the entire month that our internet was down. The internet was finally resolved, but lo and behold, I have not been credited as agreed, and have been charged the full monthly amount... I have now submitted an online cancellation request and will be moving over to Afrihost, who are more than willing to provide better pricing and service...
