Mweb, just pathetic

Being a current Mweb client for a few years I called in to change the package I was on only to be told I need to pay a penalty of R406 for wanting to change!!!! I being on the 120GB + 120GB LTE option from Telkom was initially paying R769 per month due to having to take a router however now that the router is paid up the monthly fee is R699.

Upon my search on the Mweb website I see that a LTE Sim only package from Telkom of 180GB + 180GB is going for R599, a great deal for me as I am saving and getting more Data.

However to my dismay I was then hit with now being liable to pay a penalty as I am now "downgrading" Technically for me it is an upgrade as I am getting more Data however for Mweb since they will be losing money are now charging me a penalty for this "downgrade"

I am absolutely disgusted because clearly they want me to keep paying more for less!!!! Keep away from Mweb!!!! Evidently they will want you to pay more so they gain and you do not!!!
