Mweb is the worst ISP in the country (day 7 without fibre)

Mweb is the most useless ISP in the country. I've been sitting without any internet connectivity for over a week. My Fibre went down on Friday 7 May, on Sunday (10 May) seeing that I've been down for two days I then logged a call with them. I was informed that they will take up the issue LinkAfrica. I called them on a daily basis for an update, 7 days later I still don't have any internet and their excuse is "we have escalated the issue with LinkAfrica".

Hi Gerison,
Thank you for taking the time to raise this and for explaining what you’ve been experiencing. Being without internet for more than a week, following up daily, and still not having clarity on why the service was disconnected or when it will be restored understandably leaves you feeling worn down and questioning whether your issue is truly being driven to resolution. We recognise the effort you’ve already made just to get answers.
We’ve reviewed the fault notes and can confirm that the team handling fault follow‑ups is actively engaging with the network provider, Link Africa. The most recent update indicates that there is a network incident open in your area, where an issue has been detected, which explains why resolution is taking longer than expected. Our team is awaiting further feedback from Link Africa and will update you the moment new information is received. Given the extended downtime, we’ve also escalated the matter again with urgency to ensure it remains prioritised on their side.
If you need any additional assistance, please feel free to reach out via a private message on Hello Peter, and we’ll continue assisting.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

Hi Gerison,
We understand how exhausting this situation has become, especially after being without internet access for 10 days and still waiting for progress or feedback.
Your query remains in progress with the technician team, and we acknowledge the urgency given the extended downtime you’ve experienced. A follow-up has been submitted to request updated feedback and prioritisation on the matter.
As soon as a confirmed update becomes available, it will be communicated to you directly. We understand the impact the prolonged disruption has had and appreciate your continued patience while the matter is being attended to.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

It's been two weeks and I still dont have connectivity.

But let me guess you're still following up with @LinkAfrica right? for two weeks getting the same response!

Hi Gerison,
We understand your frustration, especially after being without connectivity for two weeks and continuing to wait for progress. Extended downtime without a clear resolution can be incredibly disruptive and understandably affects confidence in the process.
At this stage, the matter remains with our Technical Faults Team, who are continuing to work with the relevant infrastructure provider to restore your connectivity as quickly as possible. We understand the delay has been ongoing longer than expected, and the fault remains under active attention.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
