MWEB is the worse service provider with OPENSERVE included they are pathetic. A technician replaced a wire at my premises and assured me there would be no charge. However, a R1700 fee was later added to my account (after I do not even know how many months after the incident happened) without prior notice. Despite multiple calls to MWEB and assurances from consultants that the debit order would be cancelled, EFT payments would be accepted for my subscription fee and my service would remain active during the investigation, none of these commitments were honoured. My fibre service was suspended without warning, and I am now being told to pay half of the disputed charge to restore it. This is unacceptable, especially as the charge was never agreed to and remains under dispute.
