MWEB Is A Joke Beyond Belief!!!!!!! Stay Far Away From Them As Possible!!!!!!

After being a loyal customer of MWEB for the past few years, I am horrified with the service that have provided me.

Fiber has been installed within my area for an extended period of time, in which I've made countless attempts in order to sign up to the 21st century. After chasing both vendors (Vumatel & MWEB), I'm just told "someone will get back to you" without anything ever prevailing.

As you can imagine, this situation only became more painful over time & being a manager of an Operations I did the courteous thing & reached out to specific heads of the MWEB unit. My email is detailed below:

"Hi,

First & foremost, I apologise for reaching out to yourselves directly but your company really hasn't left me any other choice.

Being an MWEB users for years & expressing loyalty throughout that tenure, one would only assume when it comes to the rendering of your service to clients such as myself, you would do it honestly but more importantly efficiently.

Excited with the prospect of finally moving onto fiber in the latter part of 2018, the thought of this ever coming to fruition slowly began to erode after countless promises were made which never came to light.

The correspondence I copy you into, is one of many emails sent to Vumatel (MWEB's business partner) to which I never have received any response from. Now whilst you may ask yourself, why is he not contacting/escalating this matter with Vumatel, this is based on the fact that my internet relationship lies with yourselves & not them. I as a client of yours, has done everything that has been asked of them & I refuse to play tennis between two service provides cant follow through on very simply instructions.

Only last week I was presented with a phone call from one of your staff members, who asked whether I actually wanted to cancel my fiber order as that was an instruction that they had received from Vumatel. Astonished at the fact this was really happening, I immediately proceeded to tell your staff member that this was the furthest thing from the truth & I've been waiting more than patiently for my line to be installed.

Once my side of events was presented, your service representative stated she would follow up with them & then ensure someone would get back to me. Guess what? This never happened & to be honest I didn't expect it too because the bitter taste this ordeal has left behind only sores even further with ever new event that takes place.

This email I write to you is my last attempt in order to get fiber over the line. I simply want to know when is it going to happen. I think you can safely say I've waited long enough.

Also what makes matters worse is, the actual fiber box is situated directly outside of my house but yet Im chasing yourselves around like a headless chicken to get your commitment to me resolved. If my matter cant be resolved, then please let me know & I'd like to terminate my relationship so that I can find someone who actually can give me fiber.

Prior to this matter I held, MWEB in the highest regard & always spoke your service to the highest standard when engaged in conversations on ISP's. This matter however has really left me with a completely different outlook to your service offering.

In this day & age customer service is not what you say or do but more importantly its how you impact ones life through the way you make he/she feel. Don't become a company that loses focus of it & especially when you have leaders such as Sean that instills the complete opposite of what this transactions represents.

I eagerly anticipate your response & the next steps forward.

Many Thanks"

Most customers within this predicament would be extremely irate but I gave MWEB the benefit of the doubt by being respectful & remaining hopeful that some amicable solution would be offered. Did that ever happen? The short answer is No.

After no response was furnished to my email, I then proceeded to try Facebook as a form of contact to which my disappointment in MWEB was just further cemented. In the last 72 hours, a representative of Facebook has told me on 3 separate occasions, that someone will call me. Guess what folks, do you think that happened? No it didn't.

What an absolute joke!! MWEB is clearly a corporate giant that has lost all respect for its clients that paved the way for its success it finds today. Now I'm going to evolve into everything that they fear & make sure I plaster this monstrosity of events they have put me through.
