Mweb is a **** !!!!!!!!

I ordered LTE router and uncapped sim card online which was delivered within 3 days. It was delivered on the 10th of March 2023. After that I was charged R336.00 which they said its for RICA plus delivery.

When I received the sim card it wasn't working. I called service desk and I was told to wait for 72hours for SIM card to be activated. 72 hours became 14 days with lot of phone calls and logging tickets in between without getting any assistance. On the 23rd of March I received a mail saying "Congratulations your sim card is now active you can now enjoy your unlimited connection"! Where? WiFi kept on saying "you are connected without internet". I called service desk again and they told me about APN settings that needs to be done on the router. The technician assisted and took me through all steps only to find out sim card is still not active. There was no internet.He promised to log another ticket for me which I never received any update on. Then I had no choice but to cancel their services and look for another provider. Only to be told that unfortunately they wont be able to cancel my services unless I pay them 1851.19. For what ? I don't know. Then I called billing to query the invoice and they said I need to pay off the router that came with the SIM card because unfortunately they don't take second hands Routers. I was like but I did not even get to use your router why must I pay so much amount. Then today I received a mail stating that if I don't pay 1851.19 cancellation will not be processed and all services will still be active. What services exactly. I did not use even 1MB of their data. If companies like Rain charge R1 for Rica and give you free Router, come to your house to assist if the router is not working which they also collect when you cancel services. Why cant Mweb do the same. They close your tickets without updating you . When you log on to their app to check ticket updates . You just find it closed, no notes no nothing. When you call them and run out of airtime they do not even bother phoning you back!!!!!!!
