MWeb horrific service

On 09 Dec '24 I placed an order for fibre with MWeb. The sales person was Herchelle Pietersen. After I've paid the R249 initial fee there was absolutely no progress on my order. Trying to phone in to follow up is an absolute nightmare - holding on for 9 / 12 / 15 sometime 18 minutes before anyone answers. There is no need to try and log a query on the app - it takes you to the "live chat" functionality which is useless as no one attends to it and there is no date reference for interaction with the facility. I realised I will have the same issues when the product is live and on the app live chat and on emails categorically stated that I do not wish to proceed with the application any longer. The suddenly a month later on 09 Jan 25 the application was being processed and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I have called, sent general emails, sent emails to "***" with absolutely no response!!! This is the worst worst worst service I have ever experienced from any service provider. It is now live on the Frogfoot fibre line and I can do nothing about it. If you phone any of the other contact numbers on Mweb's contact page, it automatically reverts to the sales team number. When you phone in you have to hold on for 15 - 18+min before anyone answers, then you spend time on the phone without your issue being resolved, being asked to hold on, then put back into the general waiting queue, then speaking to someone else, then being asked to hold on and then the call drops. No one phones you back and you have to start all over again. Eventually last week Friday, after yelling shouting pleading, I get promised that the call centre manager will phone me back. No call received from him/her. I'm being held hostage now by MWeb not being able to get this cancelled and line released by Frogfoot. I spent another 32 min on the phone today, and upon transfer to the retentions department, the call dropped!!! MWeb has absolutely no respect for their clients' time and money!!! I am done with Mweb!!!
