Mweb horrible client technical and support services
Most horrible client service support, technical and all else, since joining more than a decade ago as a client. The following client complaints from the web (AI) captures what I (and many others) have been experiencing (my own experience over almost a week now): Based on recent user reports and reviews, Mweb's customer support has received intense criticism, with many customers describing it as "horrible," "useless," and "the worst" in late 2024 and 2025. Here are the primary reasons for this decline, according to customer feedback: Extremely Long Wait Times and Dropped Calls: Customers report waiting for 45 minutes to over 4 hours on the phone, only for the call to be disconnected without resolution. Ineffective Automated Support (AI/Chatbots): Support is heavily cushioned by AI and chatbots, which are described as unable to resolve complex issues and often used to deflect dissatisfied customers. Failed Installation and Activation Delays: There are multiple reports of customers waiting for weeks to have fibre installed or activated,, often with little communication or progress. Poor Communication and "Escalation" Tactics: When agents do answer, they often provide unhelpful, repetitive, or contradictory information. Complaints are frequently "escalated" to a higher level with no follow-up or resolution. Difficult Cancellation Process: Users have described the process of cancelling their service as a "nightmare," with reports of the company holding onto fibre lines, making it difficult for customers to move to other providers. Ineffective "Live Chat" and Email Support: The live chat on the website is described as "useless" and "dead," with some customers waiting for hours without response. Unprofessional Agent Behavior: There are reports of agents being rude or abruptly ending calls when asked for managers or when dealing with difficult queries. These issues, often combined with problems from underlying fiber infrastructure providers (like Vumatel or Openserve), have led to significant customer frustration.
