Mweb Fibre Product

Hello, I have recently taken out a contract with Mweb for a fibre deal. The promises from Mweb were that my contract would be : 1) Uncapped, Unshaped, Unthrottled, NO Fair Usage Policy and possibly other 'benefits'. Mweb claim via some of their products, that 'TV streaming' works well and that this would work well under my contract. However, when I try this 'TV Streaming' under this contract of mine ( 20mbps download and 2mbps upload ), I find it does not work satisfactorily at all. There is just too much buffering and many TV shows are unwatchable. After many and lengthy phone calls to Mweb ( which are expensive because one has to hang on the phone for a long time, similar service levesl to the City of Johannesburg ) , then I just get the 'run around' and no effective explanation of these problems I am having. At least Telkom do have 'shops' where one can talk to the people and usually get an effective answer. Mweb no longer have any local offices and of course they do NOT have a email address. Any communications via email to me are flagged ********** In other words they can speak to you but the 'system' is designed so that we cannot effectively communicate to them. I suppose they are scared not to put anything in writing via email , just in case they slip up and promise something good which they cannot keep. I want to cancel this contract as Mweb have broken their promises. I have also checked the reponse from TV streaming from my 4mbps Telkom ADSL line and find that there is not a great deal of difference. So all this expense is just not worth it. I have also raised queries via the Mweb website, and although their response is good, they offer NO effective resolution to these problems. I suspect other users, like me, also have such problems. I believe Europe is far ahead of us, certainly from a customer service point of view. Quite often 'they' will also provide a '0800....' phone number which is cost free. Anyway I guess this will go in the 'bin' just like so many other compaints. Thanks anyway, Ned
