Mweb fibre, is a whole new level of bad service and technical incompetence

I am aware that it is South Africa , ans bad business service is the rule, rather than the exception. But well established, well known organisations tend to have pockets of excellence. And we often see great reviews.. But Mweb fibre is on another level of bad service....it has been a month since the instalation , and 10 seperate support technicians, three visits from Frogfoot, ONT changed three times and router changed twice....but the unstable fibre has not been fixed. Mweb blames frogfoot , and Frogfoot blames Mweb....the technitions open service tickets and close then without resolving the unstable fibre. If I ask for this contract to be canceled...I would have to pay them R1000. For a service that was never rendered to the level promised. If I could do this over, I would not choose this company again...

Hello Erwin,

We understand how disappointing and frustrating this experience has been, particularly after a month of ongoing instability, multiple support interactions, repeated technician visits, and equipment replacements without achieving a lasting resolution. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we recognise that the service has not met your expectations.
Having reviewed the account, we can confirm that a new fault has since been logged for investigation. We have also escalated the matter and requested urgent attention, with a specific focus on obtaining a permanent resolution rather than continuing temporary troubleshooting measures.
Our Faults Team is actively investigating the issue and engaging with the relevant parties to identify the root cause of the instability. They remain committed to seeing the matter through to resolution and will continue providing updates as the fault progresses.
Your feedback regarding both the ongoing connectivity issues and your overall support experience will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement.
Should you require any further assistance or wish to discuss the progress of the fault, please continue engaging with us via direct message on Hello Peter and we will gladly assist.

Kind regards,
Mweb Team
