MWEB FIBRE
MWeb fibre is pathetic. I have MWeb uncapped fibre at my residence for which I pay R789.00 per month.
Due to the national lockdown, the usage of the internet at my residence has obviously increased. My children are now obliged to use the internet much more for educational purposes (such as online classes and assignments).
The internet connection is both very unstable and very slow.
I did 2 speed checks - the one download was 0.6 Mbps and the other was 1,2 Mbps. This is extremely slow for fibre. It should be 10x faster.
My school child has twice in one day had connectivity disruptions and slow speeds and thus did not have full access to online classes. This has prejudiced his studies.
I am not getting value for money nor that for which I contracted. MWeb should peruse the Consumer Prorection Act 68 of 2008, the provisions of which are applicable to it and my contract.
MWeb has slowed the download speed. It is unheard of that fibre delivers speeds of 0.6 or 1.2 Mbps downloads.
If you are thinking about subscribing to MWeb fibre, you may consider my experience mentioned above.
MWeb you should be ashamed.
