MWEB Fibre are a Bunch of ****** - don't go near them!

I made the mistake OF getting MWEB fibre at my home - which I use to stay alive during Covid.

I paid R809 for a 20 MB/s connection with a 200GB cap. Twice now they have cut me off - even though I had not reached my cap - today being the latest time. I look it up on their website https://www.mweb.co.za/customer/my-products and it clearly shows that I have not reached my cap - but I'm cut off.

Since 8:10am this morning I've been phoning them to try and sort this out. I have spent a total of over an hour on the line - while dialing into the internet to demonstrate that their own website shows I have not reached my cap - spending my money on cell phone data to do all this - to no avail. I send on average about 20 minutes getting the call centre person to get up to speed and just when we're on the same page - I either get cut off and phone back to start all over again with someone else - or the persone says to me - you're right they cut you ff due to another problem on our side - we'll fix it and sms you to let you kow - which of course never happens. I then phone again and again I have to take the guy through the whole same story - but this time (the 5th time I phoned) the guy says - "but I've added it up and you are over your cap". I point out that thhis is my 5th call and that now I'm in my car as I couldn't work from home - but when I was at home the web site clearly showed that in Jan (this month) I only used 79.18 GB downloading 4.08Gb uploading and 1.71GB of nighttime data - which doesn't get counted - which only total 86GB at most! He says that he added it up and on his screen it it over 400GB at which point I was cut off again.

What kind of company is this???

This seems like an elaborate **** to get me to pay more because I'm desparate - even htough I clearly did not reach my cap - this month - or in Dec when they last cut me off (on the 30th) when their screen clearly showed 106.85 download 7.12 upload and 24.36night data. Clearly below 200Gb!

I AM SO FRUSTRATED I COULD SCREAM - AND I'M ABOUT TO GIVE IN AND PAY THEM MORE MONEY - THAT HAS BASICALLY BEEN ******ED FROM ME AT GIGITAL GUNPOINT!
