Mweb Fiber - mother buffer bad service!
Dear Mweb,
I am very sure that you receive this cliche review a lot - but I am currently REALLY receiving the worst possible unprofessional service possible. Beginning of March I was approved for Fibre. 14 days after the approval, Open Serve came to do the installation and about 2 days after that I received my rooter from Mweb. This sound just peachy. And it all goes down hill from there. I have been struggling to get my service connected since March. I have gone through all the stages - confused, unhappy, doubt, frustrated and now I have just about had it. Please look at the notes on my account - (I am the account holder with the soft voice and have been very reasonable, my Fiancee also took a lot of time out of his schedule to follow up daily.) Like most fortunate South-Africans, I have full-time job, I can get my call records from Cell C to show the amount of calls made to Mweb, time is money Mweb! Yes, nobody minds taking 15-20 minutes to phone a service provider every now and then, but between March and May, I have spend close to 80 minutes daily, holding for the Sales department, eventually getting through to so many different consultants and than just ending up holding again. I have heard everything - 1) Open Serve gave the wrong Breference number, 2) I have app**** for Fibre through a different service provider (which I have repeatedly said I HAVE NOT, I am not illiterate, 3) The Bref number is registered with somebody else, 4) Final installations not done etc etc etc. It feels like I am working for Mweb, everybody keeps on telling me the 99 problems with connecting the Fibre, shifting the problem down to the customer. Where is the service? I have heard so many excuses this past 2 months, hence I am saying I feel like an employee of Mweb, the absolute disregard to solve something. So Shafikah (excuse the spelling) has been phoning since yesterday, basically telling me the same problems AGAIN an still no solution. I am currently sitting with the rooter and the installation was done 2 months ago, but nobody seems to figure out how to turn this dull moment into a golden moment! I have never been rude, I also work with people and very difficult customers, but for the life of me - I have never kept somebody waiting - no!BEGGING for a service. I was very clearly told that should I choose to cancel this - I will be held liable for the installation and rooter costs. So must just be patient, Mweb will eventually sort this out by 2020. But as long as I know - I must wait otherwise I will be charged for this nonsense. Fair enough Mweb, but what about the countless phone calls I have made? Am I the one not fulfilling the agreement or Mweb? The maximum turnaround time has come and gone. What is the use of asking for assistance? My problem today - you guys wants to hold me responsible for the costs even though you have failed to deliver in 2 months, I must just be happy and look the other way and wait just a little bit longer. So I am not allowed to cancel? Do I have any rights as a Customer?
