Mweb failed to connect and resolve my WiFi issue

My Wi-fi has been failing to connect since 14 April 2026. I've called and used their self help options and still nothing. This morning I was on a call from 8am waiting for an available agent and no one answered. Ran my airtime out for nothing. Their chat options is the most useless. You speak a robot that cannot understand your pain point and keeps repeating the same options. I've missed important meetings as a result.

The most aweful service experience.

Hi Shirley, we can see how deeply frustrating and disruptive this has been, especially with no Wi-Fi since 14 April, repeated failed attempts to reach an agent, and the impact it’s had on your ability to attend important meetings. Running out of airtime while waiting for support adds to that frustration, and it’s clear this has not been a good experience. This isn’t the level of service expected, and the ongoing connectivity issue despite self-help and support attempts needs to be properly addressed. To help narrow this down quickly, please check the following on your side:
  •  Confirm whether the router “Internet/WAN” light is on, off, or red
  •  Restart the router by switching it off for 30 seconds and turning it back on
  •  Test the connection on more than one device (if available)
  •  If possible, check whether a direct cable connection works, as this helps determine if it’s Wi-Fi or line related
These checks will help determine whether this is a router issue, a line fault, or a broader service interruption so the correct technical team can be engaged without delay. Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

Hi shirley, thank you for confirming that you’ve already completed all the self-help steps without any change. To assist further and properly isolate the issue, a few additional details are needed:
  •  Are you receiving a specific error message when trying to connect, or does it simply fail to load internet pages?
  •  Do your devices show as connected to Wi-Fi but with “no internet”?
  •  Is the issue affecting all devices or only a specific one?
  •  When you attempt to reconnect, does the connection drop immediately or stay connected but without access?
This information will help determine whether this is a line issue, authentication fault, or router-related problem so it can be routed correctly for resolution. Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
