I am not one for complaining and could never understand a platform like this one, but after the experience I encountered with Mweb of late, I am all too happy for this platform. I get it completely! My 3G ****le has been un-operational since January 2020. I phoned Mweb customer service, and they then took me through some troubleshooting, and the end result was that the ****le was indeed un-operational. They explained where on the website I can cancel my subscription, which I followed exactly to the T, and I went on with life. Out of the blue mid 2020, I get an email to state that they have now handed me over due to non-payments. This is now after I cancelled my subscription on their website as they instructed me to do in January. Even after explaining to them in grave detail the chain of events pertaining to this issue, they still continued to put the onus on me as their 'valued' customer to pay the outstanding amount which they continued to invoice per month to date, and I repeat, even after I cancelled my subscription on their website exactly as they instructed step by step. So now I was liable to pay the 'outstanding' amount due to their website being faulty. Mweb, as a SERVICE provider, where was the service in this? Where is the justice? The problem with service delivery is that we as 'valued' customers do not complain enough, we just pay and accept the situation because life is tough as it is, especially after months of lockdown and the negative effects this has had on everybody's pockets, and you still take the bread out of my mouth unapologetically. As someone in the media industry, I will make this known to a hand full of key players and be sure ALL my friends, family, acquaintances , colleagues, and all of my other connections get to know about this. This is ******ion 101, you have successfully ******ed me as your 'valued' customer to the max. I hope you are happy now.
