Mweb down grade

I have a Mweb account paying R1200 per month and want to downgrade. I requested it online, and this is the response I am not happy with. Can a sales manager please contact me in this regard as per the telephone request? I have not received a call yet. tHIS IS MWEB's REACTION

Please be advised that 40mbps is not available on the Metrofibre system for your area

The only package available that is lower than what you are on now is 250mbps = R949

Please advise if we should downgrade to 250mpbs?
