MWeb: Charging Fast, Refunding Never
I paid R471 for MTN LTE (April 1–30), then very politely agreed to switch to Telkom on April 10. Instead of a thank you, MTN billed me again for 21 days — R384.30 — like I don’t pay rent or exist.
So… I’ve been double-charged R386.40. Cool. Cool cool cool. I’ve called, waited, been transferred more times than a WhatsApp voice note, and was finally told: “Yes, you’re getting a refund. Spoiler: I’m not. No ticket number, no update — just silence and a new debt of R931 they want me to pay?? I’ve emailed. Again. Asking for help, a ticket number, and maybe a sign of life. Still nothing.

I wasn’t promised a refund twice — I was told conflicting things, and now I’m being chased for money I don’t owe. This isn’t a mistake. This is poor service, plain and simple.
I just want what’s right: my R384.30 back for a service I didn’t get.

If you bill in advance, you should also refund in arrears when service is cut short. Please explain why no prorated refund was issued — and confirm when I’ll receive it.
