I have had the WORST service from MWEB. I have been trying to transfer my late father’s account to my name. I have followed all protocols including filling forms,liasing with the executor and maintaining the account by paying invoices and monthly. I even had paid 2.6k to settle some god forsaken invoice as the account was supposedly In arrears and I needed to pay to settle it as my service was interrupted. I still haven’t had my connection restored despite complying with all given directives. MWEB is a terrible service provider that’s quick to cut paying customers off but slow to reconnect and comply with its obligations. Worse is the amount of paperwork and red tape to transfer ownership of an account. A basic one such as WiFi. If you’re considering signing up with Mweb I highly recommend that you don’t because upon becoming deceased you will create a terrible inconvenience for your loved ones or those you share your space with. Absolutely appalling service coupled by a nonchalant and blasé attitude. I am irate and will urge even current users to reconsider using that poor service provider!
