Mweb bad service

I have made application with Mweb in July 2023 and Vumatel is the service provider. The router was delivered and installed and internet was working fine,until I have received sms' from Mweb to advise that my account has not been activated. When I finally got hold of them after so many attempts after your calls are cut and just try again, I was informed that they do not have my account activated on their side. I asked them whose internet I was using, they could not tell me. Every time I call, the matter has been escalated and nobody comes back to with feedback. Low and behold the same happened today, apologies for the inconvenience but the matter was raised with Vumatel for them to sort out. In the meantime Vumatel closed the request on there side with no reason why. Again today I was told the matter will be escalated and turn around time is 48 to 72hrs. When I asked if I can cancelled due to poor service, I was told that I will be held liable for the router. I just don't know what to do to have this matter resolved almost 3 months later and I need internet for my work. I hope there is someone out there to help with this predicament I have.
