MWEB are unecthical

I recently bought a house and am trying to get fibre with Vumatel but because the previous tenant owed Mweb money they are blocking the box that enables me to register with a different provider. How is that fair that I have to wait 72 hours for processing ? Why did they not disconnect the tenant ?Why should I suffer because of the companies bureaucracy? Mweb shame on you for trying to use a new home owner to recoup you collection failure !
