MWEB ARE ******* - Beware false advertising and upgrades

i continuously get an advert saying fiber now available even though it isn't. i also get an automatic allowance on my account to UPGRADE my speeds, at extra cost. i was on a 10mbs, then upgraded to 20mbs, and now 40mbs. i am not technical but if they say i can get 40mbs on ADSL at double the price and i confirm the order i expect that. Turns out i will NEVER get 40mbs as my line apparently is only limited to 10mbs? how do i know this? i deal with MWEB and they happily take my money monthly for extra speed i never get then give me technical jargon about line speed being different to data speed etc etc??????? disgusting false advertising and they take my cash which i now want to cancel back to 10mbs and although consultant confirms he has done it, it does not reflect this reality anywhere on my account
