Mutton dressed as lamb

This is both a large complaint, and a small compliment. I was recently contact by Ping'd to switch over to Mweb. The deal sounded fantastic. I was asked as to who my current ISP was, and thereafter was told how much better Mweb was, and that I would get three times the realworld connection speeds, and there would be no throttling.<br> Barely two weeks into the first month, I have been throttled. <br> I feel this product was grossly misrepresented, as the connection speeds are the same as my old ISP, the difference being that I was not throttled before, and now I am. It was very ********* to make untruthful direct comparisons to my previous ISP that were simply unfounded.<br> I contacted cancellations, and was first annoyed by a call being cut off, but found joy the second time. Compliments go to Trent, who handled my call. He explained that the salesperson who encouraged me to switch should have explained that this was a standard package, throttled at 110Gb. I thank Trent for politely and quickly attending to my requested cancellation. <br> I am disappointed at the ********* dragging down of the competition in the sales rhetoric, and was hoping to have found the South African gold standard in ISPs
