Today, I called the call centre again, and I explained that this has been going on for two weeks now and that I have called and resorted to HelloPeter as well. My port was reset and I told the agent that it does not help because after two hours the line just goes down again. Once again I was told to monitor the situation. It really seems that this is the only "solution" that Mweb employees can suggest - monitoring the problem. If this is my first complaint, by all means, I will monitor the situation, but this was not the case.

On Saturday and Sunday morning we had no internet access, never mind the less than 1 Mbps that we got the last two weeks. After my first HelloPeter complaint I was put in touch with someone from the technical department and as luck would have it the speed was great when he tested it. But two hours later I could not even use the internet.

Everyone keeps telling me that there's something wrong on the line since it keeps dropping, but no one has a solution. Today I was told that Telkom needs to fix the exchange if the problem persists. It is clear that this is a persistent problem.

It is now a few hours later and it happened exactly like I said - never mind slow internet, it was down completely. I need the internet today and gave the call centre another call. I was again asked to monitor the situation, I said that I was doing it for two weeks and a fault was finally logged with Telkom. Just as the call center agent was about to give me my reference number, my Telkom line completely died. I checked the phone to call back, but it was completely dead. It came back on later, but something is clearly not right.

Good Day Danette,
Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns.
The initial call centre agent restarted the provisioning process on the Telkom portal, which pushed up the line speed to 4Mbps.
Unfortunately, the Telkom software automatically started dropping the line sync speeds; as the line became intermittent.
A line fault has since been logged for you and we will continue to make contact with you, until the fault is resolved.
Please bear with us during this time.
Kind regards
