Leaving MWEB had been the best decision for 2017

I have already posted twice here about my experience with MWEB over the last few months so wont repeat it all.

I will say i have read other users' experiences on this forum and Mybroadband and feel terrible for the stress and frustration MWEB is causing them and countless other users.

Customers have been **** to. I was told my problem was unique only find other users complain of the exact same issues (incredibly slow or non-existant connect in the evenings, usually correct somewhat after midnight). Other users have also been told to upload Wireshark packets to dropbox for analysis.... its all a game of buying time.

My opinion is that MWEB is oversubscribed and will no longer be able to service their customers ito of the products they buy into.

My new service provider has been helpful and the line speed is only slightly FASTER than product advertisers.

I post here to let other MWEB customers know that they are not going crazy nor are alone in their experience. I know it seems a pain to leave and get set up with another ISP but imagine no more BS, no more anger and best of all, getting what you pay for.

I now only wish that some other customer would take this matter further with the regulator (ICASA) or go to the media with story. This is not unlike a Ponzi scheme... you get suckered in and the returns diminish.... you should keep paying and are told that things are being looked at so at to assist you....

I have spent probably close on 40hours trying to resolve the matter with MWEB. When I spoke to their cancellation department, the upbeat consulant ended the call by saying that I should take care of myself....lol. Ironic that by cancelling, that is exactly what i was doing.
