Lack of Transparency & not acting in good faith
Hi, I paid upfront for a 12 month internet access with mweb which expired end nov 2015. After the 12 months expired, as with previous ISP's I've used, i assumed that our business had concluded. However, about a month after the contract expired I received a sms from mweb informing me of an arrear account. After receiving a call from their call centre I expressed my dissatisfaction & that as far as i was concerned I had already concluded my dealings with mweb & that I've not been using their services either. After several emails, & various dept.'s dealing with my complaint, I expected the \account\" to be terminated as requested without prejudice but the arrear billing letters keep on coming & I am also being threatened with blacklisting.
No one, at the time of contract initiation explained or indicated that a month to month policy kicks in after the 12month contract expires.
No where did i sign in agreement.
not once prior to end of contract did Mweb make any effort to contact me to remind me of their policy.
Even their own t&c's indicates that clients must be notified no less than 40 business days prior contract termination."
