It Was Just A Sim Swap!

After many logged queries, my internet connection problem was solved with the help of a loan rooter and a sim swap. But with this solution came bigger headaches.

On the 2nd Aug 2018 I noticed that the original product that I signed up for has changed. I signed up for LTE 55GB + 55GB Promotional Data. On one of the communications from Mweb Nomahlubi Am (Sales Administrator) even said that the sim swap was captured and that it is only for the 55GB capped without the double your data. And that is not what I have signed up for.

On the 6th of Aug 2018 I requested that someone contact me and explain what was going on. On the 7th Faranaaz Petersen responded with "Please respond this customer sales did a sim swap as requested. The data portion should be communicated from tech side"

On the 7th I received my new MWEB LTE Agreement and it said nothing about additional 55GB that I signed up for.

I then called the customer care number and after explaining my problem 3 times as I was transferred each time to a different department as each department said it does not fall under their services, a very nice gentleman assisted me. Unfortunately I need wrote down his name, but he even promised to phone me back as he needed to try and resolve this.

He did phone me back not even 20 minutes later and said that all the blah blah stories the previous people told me was nonsense and that I have signed up for the 55GB + 55GB and even with a sim swap I should still get what I signed up for and what I have been paying for. He also informed me that he has logged a request and that the original agree will be put back in order.

This afternoon I checked and saw that it hasn't been restored. This is ****py service and empty promises from MWEB. Just because I did a sim swap, doesn't mean I canceled or had to loose any of the services I originally signed up for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
